Aberdeen Golf Club

Overall, the conditions of the course were great, one of the nicer courses in the St. Louis county area. This is a course I have played a few times, and the one where I got my first, and only, ace! It’s a very wide open links type course that has a few holes with fun elevation changes and adjoining fairways/greens. Greens were soft, but rolled true. There were a lot of unfixed ball marks I noticed, but that’s to be expected at a public course. The fairways and grass around the greens was also very good. Also, the rough was pretty thick and you usually have to club up, depending on the lie. There is a good amount of yardage markers on holes including par 3s. All in all a great experience with exceptional amenities (free range basket, food) and kind staff.
